HealthScore Chart of the Week: Compensation

This week’s HealthScore Chart of the Week focuses on credit union compensation and benefits, specifically looking at the comparison of individual credit union HealthScores to the ratio of salaries, benefits, pension plan costs, and employer’s taxes per full time equivalent employee.

The chart paints an interesting picture. There is a broad selection of very healthy credit unions paying a lower average level of compensation than many of their less-healthy peers. It seems that these healthy credit unions are getting above-average organizational performance at a lower level of average FTE compensation.
